Organised by The Macleay Argus, the giveaway is easy to enter.

Just shop at one of the participating businesses (listed on Page 7 today), fill out a form and you will go into the major draw.

The major winners will be announced at Carols by Candlelight at Warwick Park Racecourse on December 17.

From the bulging barrel three lucky winners will be announced.

Christmas will come early for the person whose name is first out of the barrel.

He or she will win $2500 in shopping vouchers, to be spent at the participating businesses.

There will also be second and third prizes of $1000 and $300 in shopping vouchers respectively.

And for the next five weeks local shoppers will have the chance to win $100 vouchers from the businesses involved in the promotion.

Random photographs will be taken of customers at participating businesses.

Seven of those photos will be published in the Friday edition of The Macleay Argus - see the first winners on Page 7 today.

If you see your photo in the paper in the Alfy’s Christmas Pick-a-Box promotion advertisement, come into the office and pick-a-box.

Each box will have a $100 voucher from one of the businesses taking part in the promotion.

Each week seven $100 vouchers will be given away.

People photographed have until the following Thursday, after the picture is printed, to come and claim their voucher.

Terms and conditions of the Christmas giveaway will be printed in the classified section of the paper.
