Police said the four connected incidents occurred shortly after midnight and into the early hours of the morning.
“The Heritage Hotel at Gladstone; Beer, Wine, Spirits in Kempsey; the Loko Café at Greenhill and the Frederickton Newsagency were all targeted,” Inspector Kim Fehon said.
“Alcohol appears to be the main item they were after but some money was also stolen.”
Several bottles of spirits, two cartons of Jim Beam cans and a cash till were stolen during the raid at the Heritage Hotel.
“Witnesses and CCTV footage suggests four male offenders were involved in these offences,” Inspector Fehon said.
“A 14-year-old teenage boy was charged in relation to some of those incidents later that day and was refused bail at Kempsey Children’s Court.”
The stolen Commodore was later found at Stanley Dyson Place.
Police are still searching for the other three assailants.
