THE North Coast netball grand final between Melville High School and Maclean was a nail-biter.
Melville High dominated the competition, easily winning their round matches against Camden Haven, Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Toormina.
But the grand final was a different story with the sides equal in ability and talent.
Melville High started the game strong and led at quarter and half time breaks.
Both sides pushed themselves to the limit and it continued to be a hard fought match in the second half.
By the third quarter break the score was even and a great finish was ahead.
Unfortunately for Melville, Maclean got the upper hand in the last quarter and won the grand final by 2 goals.
Both sides should be congratulated for their stamina and sportsmanship.
