THE Kempsey golf course was again in tip top condition for last Saturday’s 18-hole stableford event, which saw visitors from Crescent Head, Wauchope, Frederickton, Camden, Campbelltown and Lane Cove hit off with the local members from 7am on a very hot day for golf.

Showing the way despite the heat was Wayne Simmons in ‘C’ grade with a very good score of 43 points (16-27).

The ever consistent Charlie Hermiston was back collecting the winners prize in ‘B’ grade after a round of 39 points and just one point better than Chris Gorman who was playing in the last group of the day and got the runner up prize.

The winners of the Hot ‘n’ Tasty NTP’s at the third hole were Steve Bates ‘A’, Kevin (Bing) Lee ‘B’, Roger McAlister ‘C’, Noelene Sheridan ‘L’.
