SIXTEEN Willawarrin Pony Club members attended the Dorrigo Gymkhana during the first weekend of March.
Members bought home a number of ribbons especially in the hack and rider classes and sporting.
Jennifer Mitchell put in a tremendous effort and was overall junior champion for the day.
After a big day on Saturday the club’s riders were keen to saddle up again on Sunday morning for Zone sporting and Campdrafting, also held at Dorrigo.
The competition was very strong for this event, but the Willawarrin kids achieved some good results with every rider receiving multiple ribbons for sporting.
Amber Stegar was the sub-junior girl champion and Darby Prior was also the sub-junior boy champion.
Lauren Thurgood won the under 15s campdraft with Skye Matthews second and Macky Lawrence fifth in the same event.
Adam Thurgood received second place in the under 17 campdraft and became reserve senior champion.
Caleb Lock placed fifth and Georgina Lawrence sixth in the teams associates.
A great weekend was had by all.
