Held at the Willawarrin Sportsground on July 27 and 28, the event attracted riders from towns all over Northern NSW, including Inverell, Tenterfield and Grafton.
More than 250 spectators turned out for the junior bull riding event on Saturday night.
It was won by Eric Richardson from Gresford.
Tamworth’s Brady Gray won the novice bull ride.
There was a trophy for the highest point score over the two days of competition for local Macleay competitors, with the senior award going to Mitchell Goodman, and Darby Prior winning the junior prize
Several other local riders did well over the weekend and made it into the champion of champions draft.
In the junior division it was Darby Prior, Kyle Patterson, Flynn McGoldrick and Ellie Prior who made it into the elite final group.
Sally Argue and Mitchell Goodman represented the senior Macleay riders.
The committee expressed its thanks to all cattle donors and sponsors for great support in helping to make it a great weekend.
