The Women of Godly Influence is their name, and they are here under the auspices of Life Outreach Ministries and Pastor Paul Jones and are members of the church in PNG.
For most of the group it was their first visit to Australia and they had been having a great time, a spokesperson for the group said.
“We have already been to Brisbane to perform and we love it here in Australia,” she said.
“Particularly the shopping and the cold weather in Kempsey, we don’t have cold like this where we come from.”
The group will be the feature attraction at the traditional PNG Mou Mou Feast and fun day at Willawarrin Hall tomorrow from 11am.
They will also perform at a combined service at the Church of Christ in South Kempsey tonight at 6.45pm and at the combined evening service at the AOG in Frederickton from 5pm on Sunday.
