The best of the best are working on a remarkable 87.5 per cent strike rate for the season. Premier trainer Chris Waller rarely gets the chance to use the services of premier jockey James McDonald but the six times it has happened since August has resulted in five winners and a placing. Black Revolver will be the next runner where the gun team combine in the opener at Randwick on Saturday. "You would like to have that sort of record with every trainer," McDonald said. "It is a great record and I know when I get on one for Chris, we are a big chance. Black Revolver is a very consistent horse that has been up a while, but he is well placed and should be hard to beat."
