THE Rangers’ reserve grade will fly the flag for the Macleay Valley in the Football Mid North Coast grand finals tomorrow when they take to the field against Port United.

The side will head into the game full of confidence following their convincing 4-1 victory against Wallis Lakes in last week’s preliminary final.
Coach Darren Morn was more than impressed with the way his side qualified for the season climax.
“They were just unreal,” he said.
“Wallis Lakes were a side who we haven’t been able to beat for the past couple of years and they have a few more experienced players than we do but the boys just did the job superbly.
"It took a great effort to come from behind and put the game out of their reach.”
Playing at Dangar St, Rangers were put on the back foot early as Wallis Lakes scored a goal inside the first 10 minutes to get on the board.
It didn’t take long for the home side to hit back however, as Jordyn Brady latched onto a cross to level proceedings.
They then hit the lead through an extraordinary team goal in which ball rebounded of the heads two other Rangers players before being headed in by Stephen Morn.
With the score 2-1 at the break, the Rangers set about driving their advantage home in the second half.
They got their chance when James Ting was brought down in the box with Steven Morn making no mistake from the spot.
Another free kick, this time from outside the box, put the icing on the win as coach Darren Morn curled the ball from long range into the back of the net.
Morn said that while his team may have their work cut out against the minor premiers tomorrow, he believes they have the potential to surprise.
“As long as everyone puts in 100 per cent we should do alright,” he said.
“Throughout the year there have been injuries to both Rangers squads which has lead us to use a range of different players but tomorrow we go with a full strength side which is good.
"Port United have been one of the dominant sides of the competition in the past couple of years but our boys have been working hard all year so they are definitely in with a strong chance.”
The Macleay Valley Rangers will play Port United at 12.45pm tomorrow at Port Regional Stadium.
Buses will be leaving from the Great Northern Hotel from 10am for anyone who wishes to go along and watch.
