The side had the bye last round and will be aiming to record their first win when they take to the field for the first part of the match.
Captain, Mark Smee, said that while their approach remains the same, he believes his team could be more suited to the longer format.
“We probably don’t have the same sort of fire power as some of the other teams in the shorter games, so it is a chance for some of our batsman to really settle in and build an innings,” he said.
“Obviously if we bat first, our goal will be to bat out our overs while if we field first, we want to put pressure on them from the start. Kempsey Heights are always competitive in the way they play and we expect a tough contest.”
Kempsey Heights will be hoping for a better time in the field than last week when they failed to dismiss Rovers after 64 overs.
The side sit third on the ladder behind Rovers and Nulla.
