The pair dominated the short and long distances to be unbeaten throughout the morning in the mens and womens categories.
Spectators lined the headland to catch a glimpse of the competitors as headed into the water at a new location than what has been the case in previous years when the Gaol Break swim was in existence.
A field of about 120 competed across three races including the 2.6km main race, the 700m Horseshoe Bay to Wedge and 250m Boulders Dash.
Organiser Anne Pearce said the new course was well received by spectators and competitors alike.
“We have had some very positive feedback on the new format which is encouraging,” she said.
