West Kempsey armed robbery: man charged

A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been charged at a Sydney police station in connection with the armed robbery last month at a West Kempsey credit union office.

He was arrested about 1am by police from the Bankstown Local Area Command on an outstanding warrant.

After being questioned by detectives from Strike Force Mehi 2 – set up to investigate the armed robbery on Monday, August 20, at the Coastline Credit Union on Elbow St – he was charged for his alleged involvement.
