The Marlins will travel to Kendall Showground where they will come up against the third-placed Blues while the Magpies will face the Beechwood Shamrocks at Smithtown Oval.
After last week’s physical encounter against Long Flat, the Marlins can expect a similar reception when they come up against the defending premiers.
Club president Geoff Ball said the forwards for both sides will play a crucial role.
“They definitely have some big players up front so it is important we are able to match it with them in that area,” he said.
“If we get on top of their forwards, our backs should have the room to dictate the play as they have been doing so well in the last few games.”
At Smithtown, the Magpies will be hoping they can get a win and make sure former captain/coach Luke Dufty has a fitting celebration for his 100th game.
Coach Joel McCafferty said the side has adopted a straightforward approach to tomorrow’s game.
“The fact that it is Luke’s 100th game hasn't really been brought up at training to be honest,” he said.
“Luke is very humble and would prefer it that way so the group can focus on the task ahead. The Shamrocks played really well against us last time and caught us out. We can't be complacent against them.”
The Magpies will play the Shamrocks at 2.30pm tomorrow at Smithtown Oval.
