The eight person team won 10 first places, seven second places and four third place finishes between them.
The first win was collected by Jamie Lee, Jhon, Kirralea, Jaypee and Logan who staged a well choreographed fight demonstration, taking out first place.
All students excelled in the Kata division (precise movements practised either singly or in pairs) with first place trophies for Jamie Lee, Jhon, Paige and Jaypee.
Kirralea took out a second place finish, and Jordan and Logan, at their first ever tournament, finished second and third respectively in their class.
Other standout performances were put up by Nathan in suspension grappling and Jhon in weapons sparring – disciplines they had not specifically trained for.
Overall it was a successful outing for the Elite Martial Arts squad who competed with great sportsmanship at the prestigious event.
