126 bowlers comprising 42 teams competed over the two days which saw the greens filled to capacity.
Although the weather was less than ideal, the five games of 18 ends were completed on time despite a couple of heavy showers that temporarily held up play.
After the five games were played, a Kempsey RSL Bowling Club team, comprising Dave Leeder, Phil Hickson and skip, Scott Franklin, were the eventual winners.
Sentimental favourite Stephen Crotty, playing lead, Greg Powick as second and Ian (Rocky) Stone as skip were overall second place getters, with Don Forrest’s Kempsey Heights Bowling Club team running third.
Local identity, Barry Teague, made the presentations to the winners on Sunday afternoon and after delivering a memorable speech he presented the winning teams with their trophies and cheques.
The Crotty family would like to acknowledge the sponsors of the annual tournament - Kempsey Heights Bowling Club, Wrights Accountants, Kempsey Stock and Land, Tumblegum Bakehouse, Paul Sheridan, Allan Mainey, Syd Maher and Pat and Dawn Crotty.
The Kempsey Heights Bowling Club have supported the Crotty family for the past thirteen years to host this annual event and secretary manager Kerr Black, chairman Terry Burley and bowls secretary Greg Powick were outstanding in their organisation and the professional manner in which they, and all staff undertook their roles and responsibilities throughout the weekend.
