One group departed from Lismore and the other from Banora Point and the first thing on the agenda when they arrived in Sydney was a training session at Guilford Pool.
The swimmers hailed from 21 clubs and competed in 308 individual events and 10 relays.
The swimmers then went onto the Power House Museum and then enjoyed a ferry ride back to the historic Armory building for the night.
A memorable team photo was taken on the steps of the Opera House.
Bright and early on the Saturday they arrived for the meet at the Olympic site ready to race in a pool which most of the swimmers have not swum in before.
A total of 18 medals were won over the day, one of which was a relay silver.
There were 46 top 10 placings gained by 27 swimmers and many personal bests were achieved over the meet by the North Coast swimmers.
