CYCLISTS stopped into Smithtown Public School today (Wednesday May 4) to see students as part of the Tour de Cure charity ride from Brisbane to Sydney.

Sunrise presenters Mark Beretta and James Tobin, Olympian Drew Ginn and pro cyclist Jens Voigt were among the cyclists that greeted students.
While in town, the Tour de Cure team will present a cheque for $10,000 to Camp Quality, Port Macquarie at a community dinner at the Crescent Head Surf Club tonight.
Mark Beretta will then film a live cross over to Channel 7's Sunrise program between 6:15 and 8:15am at Crescent Head tomorrow (Thursday May 5).
The next stop for riders will be Port Macquarie Public School and Johns River Public school to speak with kids about healthy lifestyle choices and cancer prevention tomorrow before finishing their day off at the Forster Ocean baths for afternoon tea and maybe a dip.
Another $10,000 Cheque will be donated to Can Assist: Cancer Assistance Network which will provide financial assistance to up to 20 cancer-stricken families at a presentation dinner at Club Forster at 6:30pm on Thursday May 5.
