Delays of up to 10 minutes are expected north of Kundabung while the Roads and Maritime Services carries out controlled rock blasting at 1.30pm. Traffic will be stopped for safety.
Electronic message boards on the side of the highway will be used to advise motorists of blasting times and traffic stoppages.
RMS urges motorists to plan their travel time around the work, or allow extra time for their journey.
