Essential Energy responded to numerous calls of wires down throughout the night, yet conditions were too dangerous for many repairs to take place, with crews ensuring lines were safe in preparation for repairs today.
Although some areas in the Far North Coast remain without power, the majority of customers are located in the Mid North Coast as the east coast low moved south overnight.
Areas include (but are not limited too):

· Nambucca – 1,500 customers throughout the area with trees in lines.
· Smith’s Lake/Coomba Park and surrounding area – 860 customers
· Kempsey and out to Dondingalong – 560 customers
· Aldavilla – 20 customers
· Yamba – 490 customers
· Goonengerry – 200 customers
