Roads affected by flooding
Temagog, Turners Flat and Sherwood Bridges are open with caution
Dungay Creek causeway is closed but should reopen later this morning
Gladstone Street, West Kempsey railway underpass is closed
There may be water over or adjacent to other roads – proceed with caution
River levels
Georges Creek – 2.91m at 6.00am and falling
Bellbrook – 2.81m at 6.00am – has risen overnight but now steady
Toorooka – 2.70m at 6.00am – rising slowly
Turners Flat – gauge is malfunctioning
Kempsey Traffic Bridge – under tidal influence – peak has passed
Flood relief gates at Kinchela Creek and Belmore River are closed
Flood gates on Kinchela Creek, Belmore River, Euroka Creek and Christmas Creek are closed.
It is not expected that the relief gates will need to be opened.

Sunday 7pm – Motorists are being warned that roads may be partially blocked and should avoid travel if possible
Roads known to be affected are:
- Arakoon Road, South West Rocks
- Armidale Road, west of Link Road
- South West Rocks Road at Kinchela
- Hat Head Road
- Collombatti Road
There may be other roads affected that have not been reported. Residents and motorists are invited to report any trees blocking roads to Council’s after hours service on 6566 3200.

Georges Creek – 3.24m at 6.08pm – Fell to 2.97m after 2.08pm but rising again
Bellbrook – 1.63m at 6.05pm – Steady since 2.02pm
Toorooka – 2.54m at 6.05pm - Fall of 0.26m since 2.10pm and falling
Turners Flat – gauge is malfunctioning
Kempsey Traffic Bridge – 1.79m at 6.00pm – steady since 2.00pm
Flood relief gates at Kinchela Creek and Belmore River are closed

- Arakoon Road, South West Rocks – open with caution
- Armidale Road, west of Link Road – open but beware of trees/debris on edge of road
- South West Rocks Road at Kinchela – beware of trees/debris on edge of road
- Hat Head Road - beware of trees/debris on edge of road
- Collombatti Road – open but beware of trees/debris on edge of road
- Dondingalong Road – report of tree over road near Gowings Hill Road – no further advice

- Georges Creek – 3.22m at 2.08pm - Rise of 1.54m since 10.00am but appears to have now peaked
- Bellbrook – 1.66m at 2.02pm – Fall of 0.12m since 11.00am and falling slowly
- Toorooka – 2.80m at 2.10pm - Fall of 0.17m since 11.00am and falling slowly
- Turners Flat – gauge is malfunctioning
- Kempsey Traffic Bridge – 1.73m at 12 noon – high tide but will likely rise further
