Emergency services were called to Plummers Lane, Clybucca, following reports a man riding a motorcycle had veered off the road and down an embankment about 5pm on Friday.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics attempted to revive the 66-year-old man, who died at the scene.
Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.
Inquiries are continuing.
Anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward.
