The company, which announced it was going into voluntary administration on July 15, released a statement today thanking customers and employees.
“Eagle Boys Kempsey would like to thank the local community and their team member’s dedication and ongoing support over the past years,” the statement said.
“Following the appointment of administrators SV Partners to assume control of Eagle Boys’ head office day-to-day operations, the focus remains on maintaining business as usual and continuing with negotiations for a sale of the business.
“Eagle Boys Kempsey is one of 13 company-owned stores across Australia that have closed.
“The administrators are pleased to advise they have received inquiries from a number of interested parties since their appointment on Thursday, July 14 and are hopeful of a swift sale.
“The Eagle Boys’ management team is looking forward to the prospect of growing the brand under new ownership and would like to thank Eagle Boys’ customers, franchisees and team members for their ongoing support during this time.”
