Supported by presenting partner Macleay Valley Coastal Holiday Parks (MVCHP), the awards recognise business excellence across 14 categories.
MVCHP marketing manager Danielle Cooney said while businesses who enter the judged awards have to go through a stringent submission process with independent judging, the business choice and people’s choice awards give locals an opportunity to show their appreciation for their favourite business.
“You can vote in the awards online at the Macleay Valley Business Chamber website and we encourage everyone to support the awards by participating in the voting process,” Ms Cooney said.
Voting for the Business Choice Awards is open to all businesses and you can cast your vote at www.macleaybusinesschamber.com.au.
As in previous years, voting for the People’s Choice is open to all members of the community and can be done using the voting coupon available in The Macleay Argus.
Macleay Valley Business Chamber president Gary Scott said the awards highlight the contributions made by local businesses to the lifestyle and economy of the valley.
“The awards are a great opportunity to show our appreciation and acknowledge the achievements of businesses in our valley,” Mr Scott said.
All nominated businesses will be invited to a gala awards night on Saturday, August 27, at Kempsey Macleay RSL Club where the winners will be announced.
Voting closes on August 12 at 11.59pm.
