Providing seniors and their families with accessible and localised information for those not able to attend the Port Macquarie expo was behind the decision to hold similar expos in Wauchope, Laurieton and Kempsey throughout September.
“We felt it imperative that seniors from across the Mid North Coast were able to access local information, which was solely directed to them. Ultimately it’s about providing relevant and timely services information so that seniors can make the right decision for them”, said Home Instead Senior Care owner, Scott Marsh.
All expos will run from 10am until 2pm at the following locations:
- Wauchope – Wauchope RSL Club, Thursday, September 1
- Laurieton – Laurieton United Services Club, Thursday, September 15
- Kempsey – Kempsey Macleay RSL, Thursday, September 29
Home Instead Senior Care owners Scott Marsh and Rod Lewis are now calling on people from across senior related industries to exhibit at either one or all of the expos.
The expos will also include a Busting the Myths about Dementia presentation from Alzheimer’s Australia NSW and light entertainment from local musical groups.
The Port Macquarie Expo in April included exhibitors from Australian Unity, Alzheimer’s Australia NSW, Hastings District Respite Centre, NRMA, CWA, Stockland, U3A, Meals on Wheels, Kincare, Mayo Home Nursing, Hearle’s Pharmacy, Services NSW, Trustee NSW, All Round Financial Planning, Port Macquarie Travel and Sports and Spinal Exercise Physiology.
The September expos are expected to also include a number of other relevant services in attendance.
Expression of Interest to attend are be made to Scott Marsh at scott.marsh@homeinstead.com.au by COB Friday, August 5.
