The Quilt Show will be held at the Kempsey Showground on Friday September 2nd and Saturday 3rd.
Macleay quilters member Vicki Gill said it could take over 12 months to finish a quilt.
“These women are wonderfully talented,” Mrs Gill said.
Mrs Gill said the group’s most cherished quilt would be raffled off at the show.
“Each member contributed a square,” she said. “Then all of our names went into a hat and the winner got to keep the quilt.”
“The lady who won the quilt passed away and her sister donated it back. It has a lot of significance for us.”
The Biennial quilt show will include refreshments, trading stalls and raffles.
