College principalr Kevin Lewis said that Janet Zvirzdinas was a finalist in her category of School Officer and Graham Bramley won the Experienced Teacher category.
“Graham was recognised for his selfless attention to developing the Francis Farm as part of our Trade Skills Centre,” Mr Lewis told the Argus.
Mr Bramely also spent time away from college (outside school hours) attending shows and providing students with opportunities that would not otherwise be available.
“I am proud of the team each and every day. As a professional learning community we share in the joys and the challenges that each other faces, so each one of us shares in this recognition, by the part we play in allowing team members like Graham and Janet to shine and succeed,” Mr Lewis said.
As a finalist, Janet was presented with a certificate and was recognised for her outstanding contribution to Catholic education in the parish and diocese for more than 35 years. Graham won a plaque, a certificate and $1000 of professional development of his choice in 2017.
“St Paul’s has been recognised as a leader in many fields throughout the diocese and is a leading school in the Macleay Valley achieving outstanding results as a direct result of the work of the staff,” Mr Lewis said. “This is evident in the increasingly pleasing results both academically, in VET and in employment outcomes.”
