Eight-year-old Levi finished in second place out of seven competitors in the U11s steer riding event. Levi managed 75 points while the winner went one better with 76.
The second place was a day after he finished in equal first position at the Harden rodeo.
Meanwhile Levi’s sister Bobbi grabbed a second place in the barrel race at the K ranch. The 10-year-old is continuing to improve her performances and the results are beginning to show.
Levi will travel to Tamworth in January to compete at the Australian National Finals at Tamworth.
15 of the best riders from every age group are selected and it will be the second time Levi will attend the event.
Levi recently took a bad fall while on the back of a steer but he showed how courageous he is by jumping back on less than a week later and continuing to demonstrate his skills.
