The two attended nippers on Sunday morning and spent time with all of the youngsters.
The age groups ranged from 5 to 14 years old and the couple broke down the steps to racing in beach flags and sprints and passed on a lot of experience and knowledge they have developed over a lifetime of competing.
It was invaluable to all the kids and also to all of the age managers who learned a lot of information and great techniques that they will continue to pass on to the juniors in the future.
One of the nippers, Reece Owens was truly inspired as he saw Melissa competing at the Aussie Titles.
Howard won the World Interclub Beach Flags from 2006 to 2013 before breaking her collarbone in 2014.
