It is a tight battle with the Rovers sitting on 5/103 chasing Heights 199. Nathan Millar stepped up in a huge way for the Rovers with the ball as he grabbed seven wickets and allowed 57 runs off his 14.2 overs.
He backed up that effort and contributed the best score for his side with the bat and was caught for 41.
Rovers still have 22 overs to face in the opening innings but they can’t afford to lose any wickets and will need youngster Jackson Korn to remain at the crease.
It is a great opportunity for Heights to make their first big statement of the season.
Meanwhile Nulla have wrapped up a first innings victory in their match against Frederickton and will be in search of the outright victory.
The side posted 292 off their 50 overs, on the back of Dan Baker’s 91. Frederickton only managed 140 in reply as they were bowled out after 28 overs and trail by 152.
