The Smith Family held its grand opening of their first store in Kempsey on Tuesday February 14 and the stores proceeds will contribute to the 34,000 disadvantaged children currently supported by the charity.

The Smith Family Retail Manager at the Kempsey store Belinda Sullivan says there is a great range of clothes on offer.
“We have new and designer clothing,” Ms Sullivan said. “The clothes we are selling have come from Sydney.”
“Work wear, active wear, the best quality evening wear, accessories and shoes are all in store.”
“It is a win, win for the community. You get to purchase great quality clothing and help support disadvantaged children from across the country.”
The Smith Family General Manager of Recycling Operations Rick Mulhall says the store will help the charity reach their two-year goal.
“We are looking to grow our support of disadvantaged children to 56,000 within the next two years,” Mr Mulhall said.
“The new store will help us.”
The store is seeking volunteers and there is opportunities for casual employment.
It is located on 67 Smith Street in the church that was donated by Terry Rowney and his family.
The stores trading hours are 9am-4.45pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12.30pm on Saturday.
