Having toured together for the past four years, the band has made its way Down Under to traverse Australia's eastern states with 24 shows, taking in folk festivals including Cobargo, Burke & Wills and Yackandandah, as well as intimate city venues and house concerts from VIC, to ACT, to NSW to QLD throughout February and March.
Showcasing his sixth full-length release, the new album marks a decade of full-time troubadouring by Scott Cook and has him back in Australia following tours in 2014, 2015 and 2016 where he played folk festivals including Woodford, Cobargo, Candelo, Newstead, Illawarra and Yackandandah.
This latest release Further Down The Line includes a 132-page accompanying book that looks back in words and pictures on Cook’s decade of rambling.
It offers hard-won advice for young songwriters who might follow in his footsteps, and for anyone who refuses to let go of a dream.
Catch Scott and his band at the Oddfellows HOT CLUB in West Kempsey on Friday, March 10 from 7.30pm.
Tickets $25 at tickethost.com.au or at the door if not already sold out.
