Staff members had fun with the kids and had them creating fruit skewers, hungry caterpillars, decorating cupcakes and taste tasting healthy food.
The Fresh Fair program began on Friday February 14 and ran for the entire weekend with money raised through raffles and a barbecue.
Woolworth’s team members will be on hand to share tips and advice on all things fresh.
Money raised was donated to the local children’s charity, Variety.
Variety provides assistance for children for things like wheelchairs, specialist equipment, therapy, and medical supplies, when families can’t afford them or when government assistance isn’t available.
50 regional Woolworths stores across northern rural NSW were involved and activities varied from store to store.
