The Kempsey lady golfers are continuing to grow in numbers with a strong field of 20 players taking to the course on February 22 for the stableford competition.

Deb Gardner showed us how to do it with a score of 39, followed closely by Ali Mavin on 36.
The showers kept some players at home last week for our Monthly Medals, Stroke plus Putting day, however, Jennie Preston played strongly to win the event with a nett of 76 on a count back from our club captain Nel Campling, who played through the rain on the last 2 holes. Pam Bruce and Ariane Brose came in only 1 stroke behind the leaders.
We are hoping to see our numbers continue to grow, and will be holding a Come and Try day for new players in the coming weeks at a cost of only $5 with a reduced membership deal included.
We were extremely proud of Sharron McNamara who represented our club at Wauchope last October in the Golf NSW Medal district final. Sharron won the day, an outstanding achievement on an unfamiliar course. Sharron is pictured receiving her long awaited winning medal and shirt from Nell Campling.
