Ms Powick received her award and had the opportunity to meet NSW Governor David Hurley and Mrs Hurley.
The awards profile women who have demonstrated excellence in their career, make significant contributions in their community and show leadership in their social and business landscape.
Oxley MP Melinda Pavey said Tania displays all these attributes.
“Tania has incredible energy and inspires all those around her,” Mrs Pavey said.
“With her own financial planning practice and two young boys, she is a generous with her time to community groups such as Kempsey Rotary, Macleay Valley business chamber and the local Business Women's Network.
Mrs Pavey said Tania is “a wonderful role model”.
“She is always first to put up her hand to help, whether it's cooking sausages at the Kempsey Riverside markets or balancing the books for local charities...”
