Just like Winx was winning at Rosehill on Saturday, so too will Graheme Martin and Graham Schasser be at short odds-on to be Kempsey Veterans Golf Club champions once again on their home course this afternoon.

The mighty mare did make it 16 wins on end, however the count will be two, or back to back wins for Martin and Schasser. Well may they reign, eh!
Martin holds an 8-shot lead to retain his Club Championship honour, whilst Schasser is seven in front of his main challengers in the B-grade ranks.
Like the Rosehill track being a real bog, today's final round of the 42-hole championship race will assuredly be staged on a very heavy Kempsey course.
Yes, it will be hard for the two leaders and equally as hard (soft really) for those in contention to produce their best. Experience will count and both Martin and Schasser do ooze with confidence.
Two 4-over 60 rounds by Martin have him the leader over Steve Bates' 62-66 in A-grade and Schasser's 73-66 sees him well placed over Mark Townsend and Max Gleeson who both recorded 72-74 rounds.
Last Tuesday Chris Gorman found his best form to win A-grade with a round of 63 that reduced to a 50 nett and it is no secret that he was nine strokes better than that of seven days prior.
Acrually Chris is the current A-grade nett champion.
But it was B-grader Stuart Aston who stole the show (so to speak), this livewire who makes the trek over from Port Macquarie regularly, signed off for a 70 off the stick and then a scintillating 49 nett.
Unfortunately Stuart missed the opening championships round.
No surprise about Schasser being the B-grade winner, whilst Peter Hatton (A) and Gleeson (B) were closest to the flagstick at the eighth hole.
Last week's field of 38 included two new members and a warm welcome was offered both Kempsey Golf Club vice-president Ray Campbell and Robert "Archie" Anderson.
A zestful fellow veteran is the latter who laid claim to being a tutor of Stuart on his way to B-grade victory. Fun and frivolity is in the game, eh!
Full details of what's what will be made well before the 9.30am tee-off time today, so fellows there is no need whatsoever for any panic. Believe me!
