Oram said their have put in a request to host the Akubra Classic in June has been accepted and it will be held on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 19.
“The weather over the last week and the forecast for more rain this week and over the weekend has lead us to postpone the Akubra Classic,” President of the Macleay District Motor Cycle Club Jamie Oram said.
“A lot of people travel long distances for the event and it is the smart choice to make the decision early rather than waiting for later in the week.”
The event schedule won’t be changed.
“It will still be a two day event with the increase in junior events and regular senior races to be held.”
“We are very excited for the event and it will be great for the community.”
