The name ‘Faulkner Street’ will be adopted for the extent of road travelling east from the intersection of Macleay Valley Way, with ‘Maragan Place’ to be adopted for the road travelling south of the first road extent. Faulkner is the family name of an Aboriginal decedent who has been linked to historical significance in the Macleay. Maragan is the Dunghutti word for ‘black duck’.
