Nulla will face Kempsey Heights in the first grade grand final qualifier, after the opening weekend of the finals was washed out.
Under the MVCA’s rules, the top ranked side in a finals match will earn the victory if the game is cancelled.
Rovers were minor premiers and advanced through to the grand final while Frederickton suffered elimination as they were the lowest ranked side at the end of the regular season.
President of the MVCA, Matthew Brennan, believes the matches will go ahead as planned this weekend.
“The weather is starting to dry up and all the fields except for one have been opened up,” Brennan said.
“The first grade match is scheduled to be played on South Kempsey Oval but it is likely to be moved to Athletic Oval.”
The first and second grade competitions will play their two day format matches on Saturday and Sunday.
If a ball is bowled on Saturday and weather cancels play, then it will remain a two day match when play continues on Sunday.
However, if the players don’t take to the fields on Saturday, the match will become a one day game when they begin on Sunday.
Third grade is a one day competition and the 40 overs between Rovers MVVS and Kempsey Heights 2 will be played on Saturday.
Rovers Burns & Roswell and Nulla 1 will face off in second grade.
"It has shaped up to be an exciting finals series,” Brennan said.
“There have been some standout teams in the three competitions this year but there could be any winner in each of the grades.”
Nulla earned the victory in the only two day format match against Kempsey Heights this season, with the other fixture washed out.
However, Heights were able to get an advantage in the shorter format with a win in the twenty20 meeting.
Junior cricket grand finals will be played on Saturday with presentations held for participants of all clubs.
“All junior teams will receive awards, free sausage sandwich and a can of drink.”
