This process assists students to take responsibility for, and more deeply understand, their learning process. The project aims to increase student engagement and participation in learning across all Macleay Public Schools.
New Zealand presenters, Brian Annan and Mary Wootton inspired teachers with ways to get students to reflect on how they best learn and the people and tools that can help them.
Once students have this understanding they can think about what it is that they need to do to improve their learning and can commit to their next steps.
It is important that students, parents and teachers all contribute to this process.
Parents and caregivers if their child has been nominated to participate in the first phase of this project.
