The talent of Macleay locals will be on display this weekend with the Kempsey Singers presenting two one-act plays.
“Love Letters” is directed by Richard Clifford and stars David Adamson and Sharryn Naylor.

It tells the story of childhood friends Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank you notes and summer camp postcards.
David gives a strong, vibrant performance as Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Sharryn gives a vibrant, emotional performance as Melissa Gardner.
“Told by an Idiot” is by local teacher, actor and artist, Chris Austin.
The play is directed by the author and stars Debbie Hannan, Craig Marvell, David Tyrrell, Gay Marsh, Anna Thornton, Lee McIntosh, Rob McAulay, Ian Yates, Chris Austin and Jenny Marks.
The final performance is this Saturday, April 8 at 7.30pm, Bandbox Theatre, Sea Street, Kempsey.
