The Magpies led from start to finish and coach Zac McKiernan was impressed with his side’s performance.
“Everyone played really well and we got off to a good start,” McKiernan said.
“Adam Davies was a stand out for us, he tackled really well all night and made a lot of strong hit ups.”
The side will face Comboyne Tigers in the semi final and McKiernan is expecting a tough match.
“It is always tough facing those boys,” he said.
“They have a big side and we will have to stick to our game plan if we went to advance through to the final.”
The winning side will advance through to the final, which will be played later that day.
The Hastings League regular season kick offs off on Saturday May 6.
