Kempsey Sporting Car Club will be conducting round four of the Mantic Clutch NSW Hillclimb Championship at the Mount Cooperabung track over May 6 and 7.

This round should be very interesting considering the top three cars are out of the competition with damage from previous rounds.
It will open up opportunities for drivers narrowly missing out on top three finishes.
A diverse field of entry’s has been taken this year with vehicles ranging from road registered classes, Sports sedans through to the open wheeler cars. This year the Husband and wife team of Duncan and Kelly Handley are running an Electric car.
The NSW Hillclimb Championship will be conducted over eight rounds this year. Rounds 1 & 2 were held at Bathurst’s famous Mount Panorama circuit. Round 3 was held at Huntley Hill Climb, Dapto, Wollongong.
Round 5 will be held at Grafton’s Mountain View hill climb, Round 6 at Tamworth’s Oakburn Park Circuit.
Round 7 MG car Club of Newcastle’s Ringwood Park, And the final round 8 will be held at Canberra.
Competition commences Saturday with official practice starting at 12.00 midday and finishing at 4.00pm.
Sunday competition will commence at 9.30am finishing at 4.00pm Mount Cooperabung hill climb utilises the old notorious section of Pacific Highway running through the Cooperabung Range and is situated 5 minutes south of Kundabung off Yarrabee road.
Food and soft drinks will be available at the Pitts. Admission is $2.00 per person or $5.00 for a family with proceeds going to the Kundabung Bush Fire Brigade.
