Cr Anthony Patterson asked the question of when the access would be repaired at the April council meeting, with council responding at the May meeting on Tuesday.
In the reply, it was stated that repairs would commence once the current erosion process finishes.
Once this occurs, the ramp will be regraded and the planks reinstalled.
This will make the ramp steeper than what it was; however, it is the only practical solution with acceptable impact upon the dune structure, council found.
