The Roxy Cinema is taking a two week break, thanks to the support for live theatre by proprietor Andrew Mercado.
While the cinema is hibernating, the music hall team have awoken from their slumber and are ready to raise the roof as only they know how.
The cast are well into rehearsals for the wildly popular opening and closing dance and music routines, bringing a stack of your favourites tunes from the 50s through to the 90s flooding back into your consciousness.
And for those with a penchant for musical trivia, the South West Rocks Kwiz returns with chocolate prizes galore for those who can name a tune from a ten second whiff of a riff.
This year there will be bonus trivia questions, to give those who miss out on naming the songs another chance for chocolate.
And yes, there will again be several spots where you won’t be able to stop yourself joining in with the dance moves.
In fact, the cast welcomes you to join in with the dance moves. Just keep off the stage. And keep off the tables, too. Thanks in advance.
Of course, audience favourites the Murphy Twins will once more regale you with their unique misinterpretation of life, and the Rockapellas will make your spine tingle once more with their haunting a cappella arrangements.
No Music Hall would be complete without the melodrama, and this year is no exception. The script has been endlessly rehearsed, and the cast have finally learned all their lines.
Did you really believe that?
MC Pete is certainly not convinced, and he will be at the ready, as always, to prompt, if he can stop laughing.
Tickets at $15 are on sale at Rocks Marine Bait and Tackle, and tickethost.com.au
