A bride’s hair and make-up is an integral part of her overall appearance, so it’s important to commit some time to perfecting the look.
A good idea is to get a professional to apply your wedding make-up. They provide the best quality products, the latest looks and save you stress on the day.
As one of the most photographed days of your life you will want to put your best face forward. Some common make-up dos and don’ts:
Go with what you know: Just because Kim Kardashian looks good with a heavy amount of contouring, does not mean it will suit everyone. You still want to look like yourself, so do not try any new trends. Remember, your husband has chosen you to marry – so be sure he recognises your face.
Do a trial: It is worth the extra cost, if you are not happy at first, you have the chance to try other things before the big day.
Waterpoof everything: A good idea is to wear waterproof foundation as if you get a bit teary, you do not want white streaks down your face. Remember: You can’t rely on the weather either and don’t want the rain to spoil your beautiful make-up.
Avoid lipstick or gloss: A lip stain is the better as some lipsticks wear off quickly and will get on your groom each time you kiss him – which will probably be a lot.
Beauty: Indulge in some pre-wedding beauty treatments such as a facial, waxing, tinting, pedicures, manicures, spray tanning, shellac nails and teeth whitening for a dazzling smile.
