The schools student representative council, environment team and mini vinnies combined to help organise the event.
All of the money raised on the day will be donated to the Cancer Council.
St Joseph’s College assistant principal Krystal Brady is expecting the event to become a tradition.
“The kids were all excited to participate and it is great to have plenty of mums and dads get involved too,” Ms Brady said.
“It helps bring the school and community together while raising money for a great cause.
“It is the first year we have participated as a school in the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea but I can see it becoming an annual event.”
