The side has been in great form this season and are out to right the wrongs of last season, where they only lost one game during the regular season before falling in the grand final against the Taree City Bulls.
The Bulls earned the bragging rights over the Mustangs earlier this season, defeating them 24-22 in a tight battle.
The loss against the Bulls was the Mustangs U18.5s only defeat of the season.
Their five game winning streak has lifted them into second position on the ladder and they are one competition point behind the leaders the Bulls, and one point above third placed Old Bar Pirates.
The Bulls showed their first signs of a weakness when they drew with the Wauchope Blues in round six.
The Mustangs will face the Blues in Wauchope on Saturday.
The Mustangs attack has been the best in the competition, scoring 180 points in their six matches.
However, their defence has shown need for improvement as they have conceded the equal third most points.
The side will face off with the Bulls in their round nine meeting on home soil on Saturday June 17.
