Kendall District Gardeners have decided they are now ‘event organisers’ as preparation for their 4th Biennial Horticultural Speakers Day is coming up at Kendall School of Arts on Saturday, July 29 from 10am-3pm.

Speakers are lined up from a wide area with a variety of subjects. Diego Boneto from Sydney will talk on edible and medicinal weeds. Diego works with chefs, scientists, architects, academics, herbalists, brewers, soap makers, producers, educators and land owners on thr cultural value of botanical species.
Terry Wright from Diamond Beach will talk on NAative Rainforest Plants. for acreage or backyards to encourage wildlife and to produce bush tucker.
Brendan Harris from Wauchope talks on old, new and timeless plants with colour, form and perfume. Tony Moore, an animal oncologist from Port Macquarie dealing with local and international animal patients using computer technology will speak on butterflies.
So it weeds, wildlife and bush tucker rainforest, old new and timeless nursery plants and butterflies everywhere.
