That is why this Report is only a small one.
However this week we all hope for fine weather so the members and visitors can get out for the 2017 Macleay Valley Vet Services 18 hole 2 person Ambrose event on Saturday June 17 at the Kempsey Golf Club.
Andrew Bennett from the Macleay Valley Vet Services has lined up some very good trophies for the day so let's hope it can under way with out any mishaps due to the wet but I'm sure Andrew will have a back up plan.
All intending players can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round and before you play you must check the playing conditions for day's event.
If it's still a little wet there may be no carts so please check with Mike at the club.
Saturday on the scoreboard roster will be the week 3 team of Peter Callaghan, Phil Starr and Paul Brose.
With it still wet all players will be urged to carry a bucket and replace those divots so we keep the course in good condition and we ask that all players can play without delay so everyone can finish their rounds before dark thanks ! !!!.
A reminder to all players that on Saturday June 24th the Qualifying round for the 2017 John Daley 4bbb KO will be held as part of the 18 hole Medley 4bbb Stableford and Individual event which will see the top 8 pairs on the day (that can play) placed into a seeded draw for the KO.
Book in now for this event at the club or go online to book in for your round.
Don't forget every Thursday at the club the Open 18 hole Medley Stableford event is held for Members and visitors with a walk up start from 7am with Mike in the pro shop.
A reminder the Kempsey Golf Club’s pennant team entered the final after winning their group and then defeated Bellingen in the semifinals to get the final.
