The Mustangs are on a six game winning streak with their only loss of the season coming in their opening game against this weekend’s opponent.
Macleay Valley lost the match by two points but find themselves in first position on the competition ladder after the Bulls have had two draws over their past three matches.
The rivalry between the two teams dates back a year, with the Mustangs U18.5s side finishing the 2016 regular season as minor premiers before losing to the Bulls in the grand final.
The Mustangs have proved to have the best attack in the competition and they have racked up 220 points across their seven games.
Macleay Valley’s defence is statistically the worst out of the teams in the top five, leaking the most points.
The match kicks off on Saturday at 12.35pm at Verge Street Oval.
